The idea for the business was first discussed over a pizza on a rainy Monday night in Manchester. Chris and Mark had always been admirers of those individuals that were brave enough to take the leap and launch their own businesses and felt that their combination of skills and experience was ideally positioned to help SMEs succeed.
As fully qualified CIMA accountants with over 40 years combined retail experience, we’ve performed every business partnering role available including but not limited to marketing, operations, supply chain, buying and investment appraisal in some of the UK’s largest organisations. These roles involved dealing with all levels of management, including board level, so we’ve developed a robust skill set that can equally be applied to any SME businesses from any industry sector.
The gap in the market that we spotted was that the shift towards business intelligence applications, which has been a feature of corporate life in recent years, has yet to have a significant impact on the UK SME market place.
This makes the Wizard offer truly unique as nobody else in the market place can boast the ability to create tailored business intelligence solutions at a competitive price point to help business owners make better decisions.

Tactical – Medium term, less complex decisions. They follow on from strategic decisions and aim to meet the objectives stated in any strategic decision.
Operational – Analysis of day to day activity. Although simple in their design they can still provide significant opportunity to improve performance.
